Dawn has a contract! This is great news as it means we can start moving forward again with the home study. Last night Dawn came over for her second visit to our home. It was so nice to see her and catch up! She has all of our paperwork now and is settled enough in her new job to be able to set aside time for our home study. If all goes well she'll start to put everything together and will e-mail us if she has questions as she goes along. I don't know a timeline, but she promised not to sit on it for six months or anything like that.
Please do pray for Dawn if you think of her. With all the changes in the county she (and the rest of child welfare) are under an insane amount of pressure/stress.
